Getting ready for the season and have a question about idle speed. What should the rpm setting be for this sled at idle. When I got it (free from a friend) it ran at 3000 rpm at idle. I would like to lower it but everytime I try it never stays where i set it. It always goes lower after a while and then dies. Any ideas?

Should be 1700-1900. You may have an air leak somewhere letting air in and that could be why it creeps up. Crank seals, carb boots behind carbs (throttle bodies), bad gas or filter. Those things could be finicky.
