95 zr 580

Have a 95 zr 580 its got the stock rear suspension has anyone ever done a track exstention on one i picked it up at an estate sale this morning for an unbelievable price i have a handle bar riser for it and all the cables but is there a kit for a sled this old or am i gonna be doing alot of custom work??????

Why would you even bother? Throwing money away not going to get it back! Hobby sled but not going to do much performance wise. 95 580zr was a trail sled & was hard as a rock. Everything you can think of broke on my 96 580EXT worst sled I ever bought new. :(

Unbelievable! You can do a lot with those middle aged machines.

Rather than extending the rails, a 136 TSL skid would make it ride like a new machine and accomplish what you're looking for in one shot.

I already had a 136, but upgraded to a CrossFire skid.

Yours is the perfect candidate for all these mods. These older machines still have much to offer.

Snowfish THANK YOU very helpfull this is the second 95 580 ive had first one ate a piston and sold it now this one i like what your tellin me and showin me i have a polaris i thought bout doing that m10 conversion or whatever that is but i wanna stay cat
