So....
I had a sled brought to me for a vibration. The problem started after the sled was stuck in deep snow and had been throttled pretty hard. When i rode it, my first thought was that possibly a stud had torn loose and was banging as the track came around. Nothing found there.
I noticed that there seemed to be a lot of play in the jack shaft and started to investigate the chaincase thinking that maybe there was a broken tooth or gear. All gears appear ok, except the chain tensioner looks like it's all the way out.
My question is has anyone ever had the chain running into itself because of this ?
I have inspected the primary, secondary, all suspesion wheels, track adjustment and so on and so forth...
Need some help here...please !!
