Trying to find out which hole the spring (yellow) is supposed (per the service manual) to go in on the secondary pulley. There are 5 holes and what is the reaction of the secondary based on which hole the spring is placed. Thanks

I don't know the artic starting spot, but I would start in the center
and ride it then adjust.
Stiffer = faster back shift and higher running rpms.

The standard setting from the factory was the 3rd hole.

Like Doomsman says, "start there", if you know someting about clutches and tuning them you can always change it.

Thanks guys. It is in the center hole right now with stock yellow spring and stock clutch.
I did change gearing from 20/39 to 19/40. Manual says peak rpm to be 8400. So I'm assuming I should adjust hole location to maintain 8400 peak?
