Now that the season is winding down our staff at Pat's Motorsports would like to thank all of you for bringing business to not only our dealership, but to the U.P. Thank you also for all the kind words and support of our dealership. JD'rs have been very good to us and we're appreciative more than you all can possibly know. Enjoy your summer, friends, and families! Please let us know if we can do anything to help any of you. Big thanks to John Dee to for having this site:)

Sincerely,

THANK YOU KIP!
You couldn't ask for or provide better service. I am always amazed that you take in Sleds for service/repairs on the spot and in most cases get them back on the trail the same day. I speak from personal experience every year, when getting my sled serviced. You keep the old 08 YAMI NYTRO running good. Just picked it up a week ago after getting the track replaced. Happy Spring to you and your Crew!!

Hate to say it but it needs to be over because I keep building 850 snowcheck sleds online... Damn 850..... Thanks Kip for what you and your team do for us. I can only imagine the stress us sledders put on everyone. Such a short season!!

I'll never forget spending months behind your shop testing the RX-1..those were the good old days! I think we lived at Pat's Yamaha for a few years after..

Funny you mention that. I remember seeing the red prototype RX-1 pass us while we stopped to talk where trail 13 crosses hwy 38. We instantly heard the exhaust tone and followed it to Pat's. That's how we discovered Pat's Motorsports , at the time we used to stay down on Gogebic. It wasn't long and we started making the Greenland area are main stay destination so we could be closer to their dealership. I think we even stayed a good 3 times in the cabin when they still rented it. Just seems like yesterday......

Testing there definitely brought in some major traffic to Pat’s. I remember working on that RX-1 with like 15-20 people standing around watching. That sled was a big deal at the time- little did Yamaha know the Rev was going to be released the same year which essentially changed sleds forever..and the RX-1 became the RX1Ton..lol

Funny story- one time this guys wife wanted a tour of the test semi (she was real nice like looking) so we brought her into to look around..after like 10 minutes her husband poked his head in all pissed looking for her..haha

Yes the sheep who never rode an R-1 sled were instrumental in turning it into a negative myth.

All sleds have their own character. The Apex is still a Corvette in the twistys....except to them who formed an opinion on the WWW.
