Tore my hammies so many times in my 40s I lost count. Your mind says go for it with traditional quick twitch speed but your body won’t do it like it used. There’s a reason professional athletes retire late 30s and early 40s as the legs just can’t do it anymore. I kept competing and muscle pulls leveled out in my 50s. I’m 73 and just completed in a skiing saucer competition. Only thing I won was the oldest competitor award but at least I tried. Lol

Agree. When I was in my 30's I had a lot of back trouble. I decided to take care of my abs and now at 59, I never felt better. No surgery.

53 and mtn biking more than ever this yr. Just did a very remote 16 mile singletrack trail from Lutsen to Tofte over the weekend. Would be a great snowmobile ride!
