I was just thinking that this will be one of those Snow Events that our youngsters will think about for years to come. All of us adults can recall the storms of the past, no school, roads closed, the snowplow got stuck, etc.

The NFL Football Giants are stranded in Kansas City as they can't fly in to Minneapolis for Sunday's game.

Numerous cancellations tomorrow, it's reported that Churches are cancelling service in many locations.

We're hunkered down here with plenty to eat, a warm home and no need to go anywhere until Monday.

Might need a Taste O' the Brandy tonight as the Blizzard of 2010 rages on!!! How about you?

Just got home from church, only 20 people tonite. The priest made mass very short. The county roads were not to bad, our town road was not to good.

Now we will settle in for the night with a little Kessler and my wife and kids and enjoy the snow. We'll worry about plowing tomorrow.

No kidding, I remember 1973 blizzard, I forgot how much work it was to keep the farm drives opened up to the barn and grain shed. I spent 4 hrs this morning getting cleared out, and just got in from a second round, this time was a bit easier, only took 3 hours and it is still coming down hard. Hard to say, but I am guessing around 18-20 inches thus far, and just saw news stating another 5 - 8 inches expected over night. Guess tomorrow morning I will have another 4 hr job. Ahhhh gotta love it :)

First time I closed the restaraunt early in 17 years. Hardly any traffic on Hwy 10 the only place busy is Buffulo Wild Wings, they must have fights on tonight there were 40 cars in the lot. To hard to plow the lot with that many cars have to go at it in the morning.
