Actric Cat 580 EXT

I am looking at a 1996 Arctic Cat 580 EXT, it only has 194 miles on it and only has been up to the U P once. It was first ran in 2004 when the guy bought it. It was new out of a crate, I was wondering how this sled is and what experienced riders feel about this deal. I went to check it out and a buddy of mine looked at it and knows alot about sleds and he said the deal is way to good to be true. The guy was a plow driver and didnt have time to take time to go sledding. I was looking to do ditch banging around my area and maybe take a trip or two up north.

Please let me know. The only problem is mice got to the seat and tore into it, so I would have to replace that. but sled started on 3 pulls and ran.

For what it's worth. I had a '94 EXT 580 and it was the worst sled I have ever owned. It didn't have the greatest rear suspension, ice would bridge in the tunnel and cause overheating, high oil consumption, poor mileage, etc.
It may be ok for what you want it for, if the price is really right, but I would'nt buy another one.

Just my 2 cents.
