Adams County WI conditions

With these trails opening today, looking to trailer to this area tomorrow. I am realistic that we will find early season conditions and not looking for big miles, just a warm up before heading up north in 2 weeks.. If anyone rides this area today, I'd like to get a report before we drive 2 hours Saturday morning to get there. Thanks!

My father lives in friendship.. He had his sled out today and said conditions were terrible..he only went approx 10 miles so maybe somewhere they are better... But he told me to stay home..not worth the 3+ hr ride yet.

Rode yesterday

We rode from club 23 up to Adams/Friendship. Trails were ok when we started around 2pm by time we got back to Club 23 around 6pm they where pretty bad. They where not the best I have ridden on but not the worst either. They where pretty smooth with a few rocky areas. I would say they did a pretty good job getting them ready.Still rideable but not the greatest if you stay away from the populated areas they where better. I would think after today they would be really bad. Few wet spots for need to go around on the roads. Watch out for culverts. My son caught one and bent his A arm.

Report I heard was it was worn down to dirt from being open over the weekend with warm temps and drizzle they got on Sunday. Was actually surprised they opened them for the weekend. They are supposed to get a decent amount with this storm so I would imagine they will be back in business. Contemplating going to the cabin myself there this weekend.

"Got 50 miles on so far in Adams today. Stopped at Wooden Nickel now. Breaking trail most of way! Definitely more snow then Portage. Adams got 7" yesterday and close to 2" more today. Plenty of snow!
I'll take some more pics later."

From down the dial!

The Coloma, Hancock, Plainfield and Adams trails were non existent after Sunday.
Literally gone. The eastern parts of Waushara county closed and they had a good base left.
I live 1 mile east of I39 in Coloma, and we got a total of 7" wet and heavy stuff.
Will give some decent riding to Coloma and west, should give really good riding to Coloma and East.

It was so frustrating to see that decision, and have 100% of our local base destroyed. Same for today...it was 32-34 with partial sun. I'd like to see some sort of temperature mandate and close at that threshold.
With some clubs it seems 1 day of foresight into the future is impossible to grasp.
