Got up early yesterday to hit the trails.Was a tad bit chilly going across some of the open fields but otherwise had a great day of riding.Started out going to Brooks,rode to Westfield over to Harrisville.Went north from there to Richford,then up to Bancroft.Headed east to Kellner then back down to Big Flats,Arkdale, Adams,Grand Marsh and back home.Put on almost 200 miles.Reached the 10,000 mile mark on the ol Cougar.

Thanks guys.It was excellent riding.Was a little disappointed in the Adams county trails as they hadn't been groomed.But all the rest were beautiful.

Forgot to say too right off the bat I saw a huge Buck! 10-12 pointer with a real nice spread. He wasn't sticking around for any photo shoot tho! lol!! I saw a bald eagle between Harrisville and Richford.Got a real close look at him as he flew off.Man those guys are big!


Joe: Never touched it till last fall. It still ran good.Put pistons/rings in it.One cyl wall had a scratch above the exh port so I got a repl cyl. A couple water pump seals is all Ive done to it.

Skylar: Thanks buddy! Remember when I bought that from the ol Bucky Bender? Not sure what I'm getting for mileage as I haven't checked it lately.I'm guessin around 10-12ish?

I sure do Eric, just think, if Bucky would not have gotten out of it, I'd still be riding cat! You sure can hang on to a sled. When you bought the cougar, I had my 1995 ZR580, then my 98 ZR600, then my 2000 ZR600, then my 01 Yammy SX700R, then my 05 Renegade, then my 07 RMK, before you bought another sled. LOL. LONG LIVE THE COUGAR!!

Was that you who was telling me Bucky and his old crew are at Johnson's sales now working on the yammi's.

Yep long live the Cougar..my destiny now is to see how many miles I can put on it..you don't seem to have that problem mr new sled every few years! lol!!
