Build an Excel spread sheet with all the addresses in the rows you can break it up into as many column as you want ie title, first name, last name, Address, City, State and Zip. If you have all the people you want to sent to in your contacts (with addresses) you can skip this step.

In MS word go to tools, letters and mailings, mail merge and follow the prompts on the right from there all the Avery labels are in MS word

thunder - not sure what version of MS Word you have (if any) but I currently am running '07 and the steps are a little different from george's instructions...

Go to the "mailings" tab, then click on "labels", under "options" you can choose the type/size of labels you have. I would then click "new document" and wallaaaaaaaa, you have the format. BTW I suggest typing and printing one label first to make sure where you place the text is how you want it to look on the actual label (sometimes how it looks on the computer is slightly different from the acutal final product). Good luck!

X2 I like using Word for making labels. I use Avery labels and Word all the time at work.

If you plan on typing in each address just open a label templete from word, and it will show you the outline of each label. Type in your addresses and print. No need to do a mail merge unless you already have a file with all the addresses in it.

For whatever reason, they made it so difficult to print labels with the new versions of Works/Word. I actually have a PC set up here at the office with Works version 4.5 on it just to do the labels for mailings.

Doing it thru the newer version, while more complicated, isn't to bad. Like said above, create a database and use the mail merge and letters and labels option. It's not too bad setting it up.

I have Word 2003 BTW
