Anybody out there mount one of the aftermarket rearview cameras on the market? What are your thoughts on the technology so far? What's has been working for people and what model and type of vehicle did you put it on?(interested in crew cab pickup info) Wireless or direct wire connect etc..
Thanks for the input.

2012 Silverado crewcab

Should be able to do the factory cam if you have the OnStar mirror, or if you have Nav you can use that screen. Need to buy the tailgate handle and wiring and it should be plug and play (might have to have a dealer turn it on)

My Tundra came with a "back up" camera but I wanted a "rear view" camera on my trailers. I chose Visor View for my setup, as I wanted a hard wired system. Fairly nice and easy system once you have the cables ran. It does come with a monitor that I have a temporary mount for and just remove it when its not snowmobile season.

It works really good and is sure nice to see directly behind the trailer for in traffic lane changing and backing up.
