Looks a little bit lighter than the last one;)

Maybe you could take a run up to the Mosquito. Rumor has it, they have a new toy to play with also.

.....and if you do, don't forget the camera please:)

For most of the guys I ride with that's what their regular everyday rider looks like. Those things are a last to throw around.

Lenny, does your wife know about this infatuation or love affair with that devilish, enticing, and seducing Ms. Yamaha?!

Back in the day, late 70's .... my budd had a 643CC trip yamaha. On the windshield, it said " Pussy Cat Eater " he bought it from a friend's Dad that must have had ego problems... never the less , every time out my 440 Puma would end up towing it back, after I got tired of that nonsense, i would tow it to the nearest road and get my 69 chevelle and drag it back down the roads ( true story ). Got tired of beating belts which were $20 back then. Maybe a little more,

No doubt, when he occasionally did get it to run , there was no catching him, it did haul arse.... Always caught up to him in the end, 1 way or another.

"Vintage!?!?!?!" "Vintage!?!!?!?!"

I can remember when those came out, and were the hottest technology on 'da snow....I must be old.

At least I was just a kid when they came out, so not that old.

Will be doing a vintage "grudge" match race with a couple buddies in Cadillac this weekend. 1973 Raider vs 1978 440 Kawi Sno Jet vs 1978 440 Exciter.

Here's mine...

I wanna give Mike Malott "MMalott" on this board a big thanks for all he has dome for me. I really love this sled a lot and plan on taking good care of it for may years to come. I bought a old snowjet from Mike last season and it was nice, had a small issue that I was gonna fix but instead he offers to trade the sleds and now I am the owner of this jem. Mike is a really considerate, friendly person who just loves to work on sleds. He had the suspension out of this one as he goes through the sleds when he sells them, just a heck of a nice guy and a blast to hang out with,,, THANKS MIKE!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey Lenny, was it parked out in your driveway Thursday afternoon? Rode by with Keith and saw a couple sleds out there. Nice looking ride. I'm getting the itch for a vintage sled too. Wifey won't know what's in the trailer till it's too late, lol.

Maybe we should all go back to these sleds, back then it seemed like there was no grooming problems and there was always a six inch base with two feet of fresh snow...LOL I love that exciter suspension or lack of

just came in from it's first voyage in da UP and man does it ever run perfect. The trails were flat as a pancake and I just scooted along. I did kinda baby it just so I can get a good listen and feel for any potential problem but everything seems right on. It's a 32 yr old sled with 2300 miles, kinda feel bad for the sled getting another 25 but hey, I plan to run it 500 miles a year and if I ride trail conditions like I did today it may get more miles. Even the hand warmers work. Mike and I were looking at a switch on the dash and we didn't know what it was for. There are no wires going to the grips and you can tell the grips themselves are not heated grips. Someone recently told me that there is a heating element in the bars and that is how this system works. I can tell you I needed to turn them off because they get hot. No high and low, just on or off. Mikes the man!

Yup, that'd be it. You gotta get one, it is fun to ride and work on old sleds.
