Each summer about this time I begin my plans to spend a week in Oshkosh at the E.A.A. Fly In at Wittman Field. July 21 thru the 27th are the dates if you're interested. This is just a short 15 minute drive from where we live, so yeah, I'm considered a "local". As a paid volunteer, I'm involved in logistics, mainly moving people. Lots of people....more than 650,000 last year. From the campgrounds, to the Sea Plane Base, the Museum and the Flight Line for the War Birds, there's something special around every corner.
