All right all you Ricky Racers…THINK YOU FAST? This Saturday, January 17 2015, will be the 46th annual running of the AlCan 200 snowmobile race. It starts in Alaska and runs north past the Canadian border into the Yukon. Then all racers turn around and race back to the start. It was originally 200 miles but was shortened to 155 miles. Average speed for the winner is around 104 mph. That's right 104 miles per hour (not kilo) for 155 miles. How do you like them apples, Ricky?

1st Overall:
Greg Peede - 1:29:01

2nd Overall:

If it was a shaved ice straight away, those are still impressive speeds. Insane. It looks like it is all "road" riding, and the sleds are running the mini drag/ice racing skis. Interesting and impressive for sure!
