Watching both...

I know I'm liking an all country Am Idol finale with Scotty and Lauren. I don't vote so can't be disappointed with the outcome. I did hate to see rocker James go - was cool to see him on Jimmy Fallon the other night.

And Hines was just awesome on DWTS...Kirstie looks awesome...hope one of those 2 wins.

My 10 year old voted for Scotty last night, unbeknownst to me until after he did it!? It's one of the few shows we can watch with the kids where I don't have to explain a bunch o stuff I don't wanna!?

I picked Scotty, but I think Lauren will win! I think Jimmy Levine picked a poor song for Scotty on purpose, makes me think Jimmy didn't want him locked into the Idol contract so he can have him and make him a superstar

Now don't get me wrong I do enjoy country music but Scotty! Yes he has a great voice for a 17yr old but he is too one dimensional, he does not have a sound of his own he sounds like all the other male country singers.

Agree, wags...Lauren seems more like a Kelly Clarkson who could have some cross over hits whereas Scotty is just straight up country. Must be more country fans out there than I thought, tho, since he won.

Was happy Hines won DWTS...

Well, then at least Hines can then have his pretty disco ball trophy if he can't play for another MVP or lombardi...I was glad he won. He wasn't at all what I was expecting from such a kick butt football player.

PR1 - cable was one of the cuts from the budget. I can only watch Deadliest Catch online or reruns. I do get FB updates tho so I don't have to feel like I'm missing out on one of my favs! Non cable TV is VERY limiting?! Hence Idol and DWTS!

hey Polarisrider1 In my household Deadliest catch is number 1 watched show I will NEVER watch an American Idol !!!! If I had to have a musci show on I'd want a show like the Midnight Special on more rock groups with guitars and drums they play themselves and write there own music. Deadliest rocks and rulzs this womans ship period and the guys on the boats well what can I say YUMMY!!!!!!!!
