I have stayed there but we did not ride form there. I don't remember seeing anyone ride out of there. Sorry I'm not much help, have you checked with the hotel? I would think that they might be able to tell you.

Yes, the trail goes right to Splashland. I'm not having any luck finding where Vallhalla is, but the trail goes West of Ashland, not East without going 30-50 miles to the South of Ashland. You can trailer about 10 miles to the East of Ashland and get on the trails there, plenty of parking where the trail starts, and head East, really nice trails after you hit the Iron County line.

Stayed there last January and the waterpark was full because the hotel had several hockey teams in town for a tournament. It was very busy.

You can make it to the trails but it is not that easy. You would have to ride up some alley ways to get to the trails just south of Ashland.

I also live in Ashland. You can ride from there, but I would trailer to Sanborn avenue on the west side of town. About 3 blocks south of U.S. 2 is a Midland gas station that will allow you to park your rig, get fuel and the trail is right there. No need to drive thru town.

I second beeker's suggestion, the Ashland city trails suck bad, stop signs every 15 feet, the towns not snowmobile friendly at all! Just start at the West edge, you'll miss a lot of headaches.

Beeker is correct, have tons of family there, and unless you dont have a place to stay trailer out of the gas station and you can go just about anywhere.
