Amsoil severe duty gear oil is some of the best stuff out there for high stress gears ie; race cars

Otherwise I don't buy any other Amsoil products.

I think you mean 840. Lol

I have used Sea n Snirt in all of my carb’d Doos. I just acquired my first Etec so I am considering going with a full synthetic. Not sure if I need to abandon the good ol’ SnS but for some reason I feel as I should for the Etec.

Slim,
Bringing up AMS Oil brings back memories of racing dirt bikes in the mid-late 80's.
Anyone remember Gaborski's Torque Center?

Anyway, used to buy AMS and Klotz from the Torque Center back in the 80's (Klotz cause it smelled like berry's fool) racing the old Suzuki RM's.
My cousin was a big Raider guy and he had us all using Klotz in the winter and we thought it was cool to smell up the place.

Today, I use Doo oil like you use VES (I hope you stepped up to VES Gold, it costs more..LOL). In 2003 I burned down a new 03 800 Rev with 300 miles on it. Dealer warrantied it but lectured me about using a gas station brand oil.

We have used Amsoil Interceptor ever since it came out. Piston port, rotary valve, reed valve, SDI, and Etec. No problems, just wipe the EV's clean with a rag, never stuck. Just our experience.

I have used sea and snow in all my etecs so far, (3, two 600 and a 800) and no troubles at all. I have also used the full synthetic mystic when sea and snow has sold out.

Agree. My 800 turns over and starts (with e-start )@ much lower temps with the extremeness of the new Poo oil vs. Klotz Techno plate at least.

The Torque center was A staple at local motocross races! They always would help riders out with whatever they needed.I raced at M aplehurst ,Aztalan and Lake geneva from the late 70s to early 90s. I wish the family the very best and A huge thank you for all you did for local motocross.
