Yeah, another oil thread....anybody run Interceptor in their Pro-S's / Pro-R's.

What Amsoil product do you use, besides Interceptor?

Used to sell amsoil years back, used it in my 2000 Polaris touring liked how oil performed, exhaust valves always stayed pretty clean, none of that unburnt oil leaking ever an issue but the eye watering exhaust fume was the turn off for me, don't know if that has changed or not, haven't used it for years because of that.

I use Interceptor in all my exhaust valve 2 strokes. Valves have never stuck, stay extremely clean. SDI's 8000 miles, and just wiped clean. Doesn't seem to smell bad in our Doo's, and flows extremely well in the coldest conditions. Many, many trouble free miles.

What concerns me about Amsoil is their TV ads showing cold temp pour rates of OEM oils.
I've filled my oil (VES gold) in -20F and it pours much faster than they show on their advertising. That makes me think there is some funny stuff going on with their claims. If their not willing to show how OEM oil actually flows, I have a hard time believing theirs flows easier (faster).

Talked with EAO who is an AMSOIL dealer 2 years ago. Decided to give it a try and I haven’t looked back. 3 2015 Polaris 800 Switchbacks and one 2016 800 Switchback. (All with over 3k miles)
Believe me, I am as particular as they come. Totally satisfied!

Used to run Interceptor prior to going to Yamaha for 4-5, misguided years. Sold 2 gallons with my 2008 IQ, figuring I'd never go back to 2-stroke.
I'm going back - the smoke never bothered me. Who cares about smoke when you're flying down the trail at 60 MPH. >Love the smell of 2-smoke in the morning<

Power valves all gummed up already

I bought 2 Doo SDI 600's new. They were both started from the get go with Amsoil Interceptor. First cleaned the valves at around 8K on both. Just wiped clean with rag. Very satisfied. Clothing doesn't smell nearly as bad either.
