Antenna Tower

I suppose this could have gone in the "Wanted to buy" section, but this isn't really a traditional WTB and more of property "beautification" project that Id like to gift someone. We have a little cabin in the woods and are looking for one of those truss-type towers that used to hold antennas back in the day. They're usually pretty cheap looking, made of steel or aluminum, and come in 8 to 10 foot sections. You see them all the time driving around in farm country. So basically Ill come right to you and make it look like the ugly thing never existed, including the demo and whatever grass work will be necessary if its cemented in. We are trying to get some height so that we can minimize the trees we have to cut down so that we can mount a dish/antenna way up there...

I am located in Chicago and regularly make trips to Marquette, Mi.

Shoot me an IM. I have one and am located about 10 miles east of US 127 just North of Lansing. I also have the antenna control box as well as a cable I believe. I am thinking mine is apprx. 35' to 40' tall and is fairly heavy duty. The sections appear to be 8' to 10' and there are 4 sections with an antenna on the top as well as an older Direct TV dish about midway up.
