Any ever used Rocky Blizzard Stalkers as snowmobile boots?

Just wondering if anyone has used them and their results? Price seems great in comparison to Klim or Motorfist, and appearance seems very similar. Just wondering how they perform and if a guy can save a $100 buy going outside the "Snowmobile" market?

Thanks.

I can't say for certain on the brand mentioned, but, absolutely you can find good snow footwear outside of the "Snowmobile" market. Klim & Motorfist are fine products, but, not the only players in the market. I've been real happy with Kamik, quality boot, reasonable price. You just have to find something that appeals to "you". I would suggest that you shop for these where you can actually try them on.-Mezz

I second Mezz's mention of Kamik products. I've had a pair for about 5 years and they look like new. Solid boot IMO at a reasonable price. I expect to get many more years out of them.

I bought the Blizzards about half way through last season. Warmest boot I have ever owned. Fairly light weight and very comfortable. Plus I use them for hunting. They work great for me. My son got a Cabelas brand pack boot last year with the boa system. He loves them. You can definitely go outside the snowmobile market for great boots.

I'm on my second pair of Rockys. The first pair was fine when I got rid of them, except I just wore out the sole on them, after 10 years. I think Rockys are underestimated. They are a great boot and a lot less money than some others with a popular name. Save the cash and buy the Rockys.

Will also post in For Sale section but have a brand new pair of size 11 Brown Rocky Blizzard Stalker boots. Original box, packaging, wrappers....Too small for me, as I purchased a larger pair. Asking $ 100 and includes shipping within US. Tom 414-940-9625.

I have used Rocky boots for quite a few years. I always liked the light goretex models, but was a bit frustrated when they went through the camo phase. I actually called when the last pair started to wear out and they told me about this model which had not yet been uploaded to their site. I have been using them since that time. I'm amazed how well they work to keep my feet dry. I have been through a lot of snow with these boots.

I have had a pair of Sno-Ryder boots since, I believe 1994 and really don't show much signs of wear.
They were of the Moon Boot style. Very light and warm. Feet were never cold. Just got a pair of Kamik's for Christmas so I will give them a try but may go back to the Sno-Ryder's just because they still have a ton of wear on them.
