Any good UP locations for this weekend/early next week?

Normally ride NE and north central WI, but apparently things are pretty poor there. Any suggestions in the UP where trails are actually good. Looking for a base to do 200-250 miles per day, ideally as close the SE WI as possible.

Go to Newberry Eastern UP my buddy just got back from there and said that the trials that way were great. I think he stayed in Newberry or Curtis.

I should add that I'd prefer Northern WI but only if the conditions are decent.

From what a friend of mine said, northern Wi. will need 6 or so inches to get trails into better shape. He said they were a little thin and had tons of traffic.
Probably go to at least, Waters meet, or Bergland areas.

I would drive an hour north of Vilas county and get closer to Mass City/Rockland if you want good riding.

Like Catalac said Northern Wisconsin needs 6-12" of new snow to make the trails good. What snow is there is being packed into the low spots and there isn't really enough to groom a good riding surface.

I was in Presque Isle until Tuesday so it could have changed but I am not aware of any good snow accumulation since I left.
