Any guides/boondockers Houghton area 1/5-1/12

I got some time off and plan on coming up that way . I usually stay in Calumet (know some people and ride with them sometimes)and ride north, thinking of south of the bridge but not familiar with area. Im coming up bymyself so looking for someone to ride with and show me around. Im 38 , I have a 159 and 136 so I can get around. Anyone out there? Just looking to fill some days.

Hey icantsee, I am an offtrail rider from Indianapolis, Indiana and don't typically plan my trips - I have the flexibilty to chase the heavy snows when they happen. I've been waiting on some more snow to fall and also let the base build up a bit more before I headed to the Keweenaw but your trip dates are a bit away so things just may work out that conditions are good for offtrail riding. Where do you live? I am very familiar with boondocking north of the bridge and have some good stuff south of the bridge (but I ride with a gps so I'm not afraid to explore). I am 39 years old and ride a 2009 renegade 137" with 1.75 inch paddles. Give me a shout and we'll see if we can't get together for a few days while your there.
