Any info on Spooner WI trails?

I see that the trails are open in the Spooner area, does anyone have firsthand experience? If so, please share.

I was out grooming in the Lipsett Lake area last night and trails are thin but rideable. A few more inches of snow would help a lot. You can definitely ride, it's just thin in areas.

Any updates for this weekend, mspease? I know they've been out grooming and got 4" last Sunday. I assume with the cold weather this week everything held up. We're right between twin oaks and pair o lakes, and debating about riding up towards Hayward, or sticking around spooner / big McKenzie area. Thoughts? Hopefully the cold weather this weekend will help conditions hold up through Sunday. Any info is great!

I've been in AZ the past 3 days and just got home late yesterday. I had one of my groomers out last night and I just texted him to see how it went. We only got about 2" of snow here, not 4". I will be out grooming some tonight, so will know more then. Our club is having it's 24th annual Chicken BBQ at our maintenance shed on Saturday, so we are trying to get them in the best shape we can, but there is not a lot of snow to work with, especially on windy and hilly trails. I think the more north you go would be better, but also more traffic. Have fun!

I like Spooner. Is Snags bar still open? Had some fun in there with the owner one night. Cant remember her name.
Hope you guys get some more snow in this next clipper.
