A group of guys want to go paintballing. I've played before, but nothing serious. Looking for suggestions on some entry level gear - basically a gun that shoots strait. Is a fleet farm Tippmann going to suffice?
2 more quick questions if you don't mind. Looked on Amazon as you said. Should I go electronic? Also, is HPA that much better and any troubles getting it refilled?
HPA is better because it does not change the temperature of the marker. CO2 when you fire a lot gets colder. So the pressure changes a bit causing inconsistency. But you can compensate. HPA for me is more of a pain. I have a friend who owns a bar and he hooks me up with CO2 tanks so I can refill my 20oz bottles my self. Kind of sketchy because his tanks done have a siphon tube. SO in order for me to fill liquid co2 I hang the tank upside down. What could go wrong?!?!? lol I have never owned tipman. I really cant say good or bad about them. I am still running some old late 90's markers. Spyder flash LCD electronic with freak barrel systems. Autocockers that were big bucks back then that came with good barrels stock. Last year I bought 6 packages of markers with masks and ball carriers-harnesses. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B018OAI1SK/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Spray and pray.... But I let friends use these. They just pay for paint. Pretty cheap but they do work. No real issues.
We have a load of fun doing it. It is funny how you get people who never have before. Then you talk them in to it. Then they feel the adrenaline rush. You can be sitting in the woods leaning against a tree hiding and not running. You hear shots being fired and people yelling. You heart start beating fast. You cant catch your breath..... all while just sitting there. It is nuts. Then they come back with their own better markers and masks.
