Any recommendations for staying near ispheming or republic area?

There used to be a hotel with cabins next door to it in Ishpeming, I suspect they are still there, they catered to sleds. Gas station is right in front of them and a McDonalds. I stayed there a lot when I worked for Johnson Controls at NMU, great people.

Cobalt is referring to Country Village RV park. They do have cabin rentals available. Also, not Ishpeming or Republic but on the trail to both is Timberville in Gwinn. New cabins on the trail across from the UpNorth Lodge in Gwinn.
