Anybody in Michigan interersted in couples ride this winter?

My wife and I are interested in finding some new couples to ride with. Most of our previous rider friends, the women no longer ride because of kids, etc. However, my wife still likes to get out there and ride and it is always more fun with company to hang out with. I have a lot of experience riding (trail, mountain, Canada, etc.), she is a little less experienced.

Background: we have kids, but they are still too yound to bring out on the trail system with all the crazy's. We like to ride, but not WOT and not bar to bar, but we do like to have fun and will have a few drinks after the riding is done. I used to have a cottage in Raco, so I know the Brimly, Raco, Paradise area very well, including off-trail. I now have a 4-5 place trailer, so doubling up to save on expenses is a possibility. We probably only get out a few times a season (without the kids) so just looking for some new people to ride with. We live in DeWitt, are 40 y/o and just enjoy being out of doors. Please let me know (pm) if this is something you might be interested this season. Oh, and our riding is primarily done on the weekends (kids have school and we both work), but we both can usually get out early on Friday's for an early start up north. Think Snow!

We are from northeast Indiana -- Angola. We are a young couple who are new/old into sledding. My wife just started and loves it and I have been riding since I was 16. We would be interested in doing a couples ride.

Raco, sounds like what I'm looking for.... I might take my wife for her first ride in January. I own a really top notch sled and I'll probably rent one for her, we are about 40 miles from Dewitt. Keep checking back here from time to time.

Hi, we have a place on Sullivan Creek Trail (3131) about 2 miles S of M-28. My wife and I are in our early/mid forty's and ride new Cats. We would like to meet and ride with other couples; I would say we are above average riders, we aren't slow pokes.

Da' wife and I also have a hard time finding other couples to ride with. We are in our later 40's, and have a 9 year old daughter that rides with us as well.

We live in Marquette, but have a cabin in the Curtis area (where we grew up), and do most of our riding in the Seney/Grand Marais/Newberry area. Tend to do a mix of on and off trail riding...and no drinks until the sleds are put away for the day.

I have been riding sleds all of my life, and my wife has 20+ years of riding experience. We can adjust our riding style to just about any pace (unless its flat out racing...then, we're not interested). I have a custom 151" Yamaha Warrior RX-1, and she has a Yamaha Venture.

If we ever get any rideable snow, hit us up!

I know my looks aren't much...but geesh....you'd think there would be one couple on the interwebs that is looking for someone to ride with!

Now there's a good idea: Get yourself a good lawyer. If you do get 'acquitted', you won't leave on probation! Oh that's priceless! :D

Come ride with the SnomadS, rides most weeks thru-out the season. Visit us on www.snomads.org I had the same problem with limited people to ride with, now I have many new freinds and a great snowmobiling family to boot. Best thing I ever did was joining the club.

Wife and I will be in Gaylord, MI this weekend. Going to arrive Saturday afternoon staying till Tuesday. No plans on where we will ride or when.
