Anybody use a heated winter jacket while riding? Do you like it?

I've used a few different battery powered units, mostly vests. I found they did not work to my satisfaction. Even with extra batteries, they seemed to peter-out quite fast and definitely were not putting out the heat I wanted late in the day.

Moved to a plug-in heated jacket liner last year and am very happy. Great heat at all times and much more coverage than any of the vests I've used. Gears Canada is the brand.

I know a few people who tried them for sledding and simply didn't last long enough. Same with deer hunting - good for 2-3 hours, not all day. A few friends of ours use them for the high school football season and seems like the prefect match.

I just bought a gears gen 3 jacket through the warming store for $135 with free shipping, I already bought the 12v glove liners last year and we’re very happy with them, with the jacket liner I won’t have to run wiring through my jacket down to the glove liners the jacket has plugs for the glove liners, I’ve been sick and tired of constantly having cold fingers and with these glove liners last year that was not an issue at all. you have to buy a dual range controller and a wire harness kit to hook up to your battery in addition but I will fear the cold in my fingers NO MORE
