Anybody want to make $300 cash bringing a flatlander upto Ironwood?

Got a buddy thats making the move to Big Snow Country from Illinois, has a 700 XC, some tools, other personnal belongings and his small dog to go one way only! 3 bills cash. He lives just south of the border in Lake Villa Il.

Why not rent a small moving truck and get everything in one trip? I would think it could be done for $300.

Also we have a taxi cab service. One employer runs a shuttle bus from Ironwood to Action Floors in Mercer. We also have the Gogebic County Tranit co that runs all over. My neighbor Bob and my father law use 4 wheelers only, summer and winter.....One other option he has possably is to get a job with me at the concrete company i work for and i wil drive........Gary and Frosty I will ask him if a couple weeks work or earlier Frosty if you go up?

I live up here too but would be lost without my truck... Snomo, Atv only goes so far good luck sounds like you will have your hands full with your bud. I finally got #4 daughter out on her own..lol :)

Sent you a PM back, don't think I was clear before, if he's looking for space on a trailer I can't help, if he has a trailer and is looking for someone to pull it then maybe it will work out.

Yeah true in the Northwoods of Wisconsin. Just heard on the radio that Vilas County Wi may finally let 4 wheelers use public roads and streets. Some people avoid the whole vehicle thing cause Michigan Insurance rates are high. Daughter 4? o boy i got three of them at home still, which is why i ride an ancient sled ...lol :) O no sorry Gary he does not have a trailer. Frosty you up for it?

Vilas backed down on Atvs in Phelps on County A now Atvs can connect to Forest county trails in Nelma. I don't like riding snomos on any paved roads just not fun even tho snow covered Nov thru March. I'm not sure Atvs will use paved roads?? Time will tell 25mph Atv on road not fun to me. idk???

When does he need to be up there? I was just told today at work that I am on mandatory 6-12's for the next 2 weeks. It kinda sucks, but the money is needed! After that I should be open. If something changes, I will let you know.
