Anyone elses dogs have "snotty" eyes this summer

Both Boonie and Buddy seem to have a lot of snot coming from their eyes this summer. It's not causing a problem or anything... I have a friend who's noticed it in his dog too.

Just curious if anyone else has noticed it in their dogs?

My chocalate lab "ruby" developed snotty eyes after we spent the first week of august at the cabin. She was swimming alot and rubbing her face in the sand so I attributed it to chit in her eyes but it may have been something else. The vet gave us some drops for her eyes and so far it seems a little better. But yes I am seeing the same thing!

Very wet summer has all the pollen counts through the roof. Saw a story on the local news about allergy sufferers having a hard time this year. Maybe getting in animals eyes? We would probably have it too if we didn't instinctively wipe our eyes when there is gunk.

Both of our dogs have that as well. Our youngest dog is only 1 1/2 years old so I don't know if it is worse for her this year or not. We have never checked to she if anything specific is causing this. I will be interested to hear what everybody else says.
