I have a 2008 F8 SnoPro. I broke the little black plunger off of my brake light switch. It is about the size of a pencil lead. Anyhow, I have the new one, and want to installl it. I had it torn apart yesterday, thinking it would be a 15 minute job. It looks like the switch is held in by spring loaded plastic nubs that go into holes in the brake lever housing. I can depress the lower one, but there aren't any holes in the upper side. Has anyone ever done this, and if so, what is the secret? I can ride it this way, as the brake light is always on. Prefer not to, though as I like my equipment to be in top notch shape all the time. Any help or how to- with photos would be appreciated.
