anyone going to the u.p. from the McHenry, Il. area

I was wondering if there is anyone heading north to the upper peninsula from the McHenry, IL. area on Saturday, Sunday, or Monday ( 2/19 - 2/21)?

Would you be interested in hauling a snowmobile engine up for me? My engine is supposed to be finished tonight and i could get the engine dropped off at your house for saturday morning. The engine should be in a plastic tote like you would buy from Wal - Mart. You can contact me at 815 - 739 - 1491 because i can not receive p.m.'s for some reason.

Joe - I wish I was going up this weekend to bring it up for you.

To everyone else, Joe is a great guy and was one of the off-trail guides for the JD Ride-In last year. I brought his motor down for him last week and am not going back up this weekend as planned.

Thank You everyone that responded. Garyl62 will be bringing it up tommarow for me thank you very much Gary. Cuzzinolaf thank you for the compliments hopefully i can get the motor in sunday and we can go for a ride next weekend as i dont have to work.

Pistakee Highlands? LOL Yep, I make the commute to the UP every other weekend for the most part... some times 3-4 weeks in a row.

Glad it worked out, Joe. We'll have to see whats up next weekend... I am not sure I'll be able to make it up due to 3 guys and only a two place trailer LOL.

Glad to help out... easy to bring up something for a fellow rider that's on my way when I have plenty of room. Figure some day some one will do the same for me. Now... just be sure the trails are great when we get there!

No problem, glad it worked out, thanks for your help Saturday night. Might get to Dreamland tonight but this time on the trail thats open!

dreamland is closed Monday's,Tuesday's and I am not sure if they are open or closed on wednesdays they are open 7days in the summer and start of snowmobile season
