Anyone Groom CC Ski Trails?

I groom cc ski trails on our golf course and our groomer (ATV with tracks) burnt to the ground. Insurance will cover the loss but we will look at replacing with something different. Wondering what is the preffered equipment these days? I was thinking either a fan cooled Skandic or Gator/UTV with tracks? Leaning torwards a UTV as we could also utilize for summer use as well.

Welcome to the groomer world bud! :) Have you been doing any skiing to stay in top shape? How about a fully decked out Razr that you could store at home during the summer? ;) I doubt they would work well but would be fun in the summer months!

The only skis I use have spark plugs.

Here is whats left of the poor girl...sorry can't give out the brand name... wouldn't want to offend the ski doo guys on here

You'd be crazy not to get some model of a UTV for the obvious reason of year round usage, especially on a golf course. I'm sure the trasck conversions are costly....wonder how well the 6 wheel drive machines do in snow..??.. We have one on the fire dept that goes anywhere ya want it to in low range and all wheel drive, but that's without snow. If the golf course could afford the extra, I'd go with an enclosed UTV with tracks, radio, two way radio,(if the resort uses them) heat, and any other goodies.
