Well that's dumb. WTH is wrong them. Guess might not go at all then, doesn't pay drive 1 1/2 hr to see only one manufacturer.

Someone on Doo-Talk said it like this; "Poo has slowed it's rebates substantially in order to become a premier snowmobile manufacturer alongside Doo". While I can attest that over the past two complete seasons this is true about rebates it will be interesting to see how it works out. One thing you can't doo is let your dealers hang with too much product or they will end up like Cat.
Interestingly enough, Doo has countered this strategy of rebates the past two late seasons by adding large end of season rebates to their sleds when Poo has tightened up.
Taking the introduction of the 2020 Poo's "off-site" (rather than at the common show) is a strategy I have seen before in my work industry. In my example, it seemed to work when I attended but only lasted three years and they were back at the main show. It was too expensive to recreate a separate show and really accomplished nothing but to inconvenience the buyers of the product.

Perhaps it is the rebate thing that has Poo going different direction?

so how was the show...your thoughts

A bust.

-No coupons
-Only Ski-Doo attended.
-Individual Ski-Doo Dealers were there from 8 or 10 WI shops and no factory Doo reps. I would rather have Doo reps, I see my Dealers already.
-The Rothschild convention center is rather old and reminds me of a K-Mart or Shopko that went belly up and they could not fill the space so they made it a convention space. Better off to have it in Green Bay like AWSC did last week at Oneida Casino.

Holy poop, I drove from Green Bay to the show R/T and HWY 29 took a beating last winter. Not to mention the parking lot at the show, that lot has thousands of pot holes, yes thousands (probably tens of thousands).

Food for thought for next year. I went to the showing at Lake Geneva couple of weeks ago, and there was a factory rep there who was just great to talk with as I looked over the GT. Found out lots of things about my 2019 current sled that I never picked up at my local dealership. Although the "showing" at Lake Geneva was inside a tent, and in the midst of some racing event (Yikes!!! Loud!!!) on a big hillside covered with snow and constantly being groomed, with muddy slushy grounds and a shuttle to the parking area, I would likely go again to this 3-day showing if for no other reason to talk with a factory rep that really seemed to know his stuff..."Thanks again Nolan!" I, too, have been to Wausau in the past, but it was a letdown I thought.
