I just have a question for anybody who might live in the Brainerd Baxter area. Can you get a boat from the Cullen came to the Gull Lake chain? Mary appears to be a channel but I just don't know how possible it is

Not from Brainerd but I watched Fargo the other night. I didn't know much of that was set in Brainerd.

Canoe or very small boat yes. My 16ft bare bones Crestliner, with a 25hp motor, would be a major struggle. Lot's of climbing out, dragging, boogering up the transducer, etc.

If you're staying on Cullen, you'll need to trailer to Nisswa lake, Zorbaz landing on Upper Gull or Hole in the Day bay.

Best bet would go to the Zorbaz landing on Upper Gull. When you're done, Excellent pizza & beer is right there! Cheers.

Point Narrows in Nisswa used to be good. That was back in the 80's. Don't know much about it now, but from there you could get to the whole chain.
