I am thinking about getting two new Pella doors,Model #3525.What I am trying to find out is how the deadbolt lock works.I have Larson doors on my home now and the deadbolt locks into the strick plate built into the door frame and it is a very secure lock.I can find nothing on line that shows Pellas way there lock works.Dealer just says it uses a seperate strick plate that is not part of the storm doors frame. Can someome fill me in on more detail,or better yet if you have a Pella post some pics of what the lock looks like.and if it is secure. Thanks for any help you can provide.

No,not from a chain store.I am going to get direct from Pella.I have always bought larson from local lumber yard. But Pella's are $100.00 lower in cost.

In my experince with Pella direct they sent a rep out to discuss products but then again I bought a $4K stained glass steel door. If I understand you want a storm door not sure why other than ventilation in warmer months?
