Well, we tried to ride from Coach's in Lena on Saturday, but sled problems killed that. I did think it would be a great place to ride, and I'm definitely up for hitting that area at a later date. Keep me in mind.

Will do! sorry you had trouble, we road from Monroe, to Browntown, Lena, Orangeville, Twin Grove, Juda, Albany, Broadhead and back to Monroe. Nice Loop 120 miles. Trails were good. Railroad grades starting to get a bit icy. Need the snow that is coming tomorrow! Field trails were holding up better than I thought, especially in Green County, it seems the weekend they opened the trails early helped to pack the base and they didn't loose so much to the wind. Lot's of sleds out today.

Sorry to announce that Lena's groomer had one of the hubs on the rear drivers side snap off on Saturday night. I would expect the groomer to be down for a week. We hope to have it going before x-mas. We will see.

Trails by Apple River

cav what are the trails like up in that area? We ride around forreston, polo, have rode up through freeport to monroe, hit shannon, lanark before. Never made it over towards apple river, stockton, galena areas and are thinking about it if the trails are wooded with hills are they just like everywhere else?
