Anyone watch "Snow Men" on Discovery?

Seemed like quite a few "creative liberties" and embellishments done to make the story line more exciting, but loved watching the footage of all the snow.

Would be nice to get a 60+" storm in 36 hours. :)

I watched it last night and thought it was amazing to see all of that snow and I'm sure I'll watch it again. I like the show on before it too, Swamp Loggers.

It was on Friday night at 10 pm on The Discovery Channel.

Hopefully they will do a show about Red Mountain Pass in CO. that is a wicked one for them to keep open in the winter. I think Rabbit Ears Pass would also be an interesting route to cover with a show. I know I was the last vehicle over that pass before they closed it one time. Almost did not make it!

Might even be neat to watch them open the road over the snowies in the spring. I have seen some pictures of them in the process of opening that road and they were amazing.

I saw the show, and while it was entertaining I get tired of the same guy with the same voice always predicting imminent doom whether it is logging, driving on ice roads, or plowing snow. "If they don't get the snow plowed, the small town of Alta could be cut off from civilization, putting the residents in real danger." Oh crap! I lived out there one ski season and when an avalanche goes through Little Cottonwood Canyon they predicted it in advance, most of the day skiers were already sent home, and the people left in Alta and Snowbird party like rock stars until the next morning when they hit the fresh powder with no crowds because the day skiers can't make the trip. They have food, beer, and medical facilities, oh, and there's that helicopter thing that can always fly over the avalanche.

That one narrator has caused me to stop watching Ice Road Truckers and the logging show, all work is danger! Everything is a crisis. That's one reason why I like Deadliest Catch with Mike Rowe narrating...work is work, danger is danger.
