Anyone with the Flu?

Just curious. Seems to be everywhere but so far we've been healthy/lucky. They've postponed large group meetings where I work. Some have the Respiratory and others have the Stomach Flu. Seen a few people wearing masks in the local Walmart here. Maybe not a bad idea considering the venue.

Here's hoping you stay healthy!

I got it 2 days after X mas, no stomach issue's, thank god! but super congested and a terrible cough, high fever, and chest pains, and could hardly breath at times and even harder on me as I am down to one lung and its not in the best of shape, so colds like these really hit me!and still have it(almost gone finally) its on the news in my area all the time with everyone seeming to be getting some sort of it, ER"S are swamped with folks every day hereI personally think a lot of it here is our temp swings, folks going from cold weather to warm(was in 60's for a few days after X mas, broke two all time record highs in one week and then went to below normal temps that has to make your immune system confused, plus folks going from t shirts to heavy jackets in a day or s and back! I miss when winters were winters cold and snow for months, or at least MANY weeks in a row!60's in Late dec and Jan, just seem wrong to me LOL

Brother in law and SIL had it last week. I came down with it on Monday, lasted until Wednesday. Wife got it Wednesday, feeling better today. On Tuesday for me I felt I was just about dead. I told my wife I am really glad she can't get the man flu - it must have been what I had. She didn't have it as bad as me:)

Have had it in chest and head since few days before Christmas. Had it when I was out west a couple weeks ago. That was pretty rough trying to ride hard but coughing every 30 seconds. Thought it was going away earlier this week but seems to be back yesterday and today.
Its clearly viral because the antibiotics I took did nothing. DayQuil and Nightquil seem to work the best for me.

I never got sick until my kids started going to school. Even with a wife that works in the ER.

I think I had the coronavirus once, years ago. I swore it was caused by ingesting lime slices. 15 or 16 of those in one day is way too many.

I had the stomach flu around Thanksgiving, It was the first time in my life i had it bad enough that i thought i was going to have to go to the hospital and get a IV. I was so dehydrated that all I could do was lay in bed cramped up for 12 hours. Kids got it soon after and handled it much better than me. Like srt20 said it sure is tough to stay away from that stuff when you have little kids
