A buddy of mine purchased a new Polaris 800 Pro S and I blame him for the lack of snow this year. He wants to put on some break in miles and has heard of the lake effect going on up there in places, is there anywhere up there where someone can go yet to get some break in miles? he has reservations for after the 22nd but has the itch to go

Not here yet, not enough cover for break-in miles, unless he really wants to break it. It will come, it always does, it's just a matter of when. Stay tuned. -Mezz

That's what I told him, but its his first new sled, new to the sport last year, liked it so much he purchased new one this year, like a kid with a new toy. I told him its his fault it hasn't snowed yet and it will come...patience my friend. Thanks mezz!

I'd have a little talk with your buddy about what will happen to his nice, pretty, new sled if he overheats the poor thing. Or you could just kidnap it for it's own protection!😁

RIGHT!! I may not have the newest sleds but value them more than that. I told him instead of breaking it in he will just break it!

Rose City up to Alpena, and over to Gaylord area has 10-15 in. Reports of low hanging branches and downed trees on the trails though. Good luck. I did see sleds on trail 7 on Gaylord trail cam.

Yep lots of snow in N Lower. Had 12 " plus and awesome and smooth riding. Like floating on a wave. So yes there is. Lots of hydro out and trees down.

Spoke to gentleman that rode from Greenland to Twin Lakes yesterday and they said it was very nice. They graded the grade this summer and it's very nice and flat! They said they could've easily kept riding North to Painesdale. Better than nothing!
