Apex LTX rear heat exchanger

Does anybody have one of these on their Apex (reg or long track).
I'm trying to find a part number for one.
Also I'd like to know if it helped or not.
A couple of times this winter mine got hot.

I have the same sled . Only saw the hot light when it was brand new. It would go away as soon as I got into some soft snow, but I was wondering the same thing. Only has 2300 miles. I'm sure it could be updated. Great sled though, isn't it?

Yes, I really like the sled. I have 4,500 on it.
My dealer looked through the Yamaha catalog and couldn't find anything pretaining to the cooler.
Maybe someone will come forward with some info.

Click on the "Engine" section for info on the rear cooler. I've installed these coolers on both of my Attaks and they've never had any cooling issues since.
