I see that the 2" of snow that Duluth got today put us over the top; it has now been a record-setting snowfall season (137.2"). Nearby, Bayfield, WI destroyed its old record, with 182" so far this season. That's still nothing for you Yoopers, though!

7" in Grand Forks yesterday and last night, it would have been quite a bit more but for about the first 10 hours it all melted as it came down. That puts our yearly total at about 85" which is in our top four at least. What made this winter different is that our first snow in early November was still here until late last week. We did set a record for the most consecutive days with over 12" on the ground, it was about 4 months.
