Arctic Cat adjustable riser install

I got a great deal on a 2015 AC XF 800 and either want to add the AC quick adjuster riser or a fixed riser. The stock riser is 5.5 inches and I want to go a little taller. Whats the max i can go with out changing cables out? Also has anyone installed the quick adjuster riser, how hard is it for the average sledder.

I don't think you can go much higher without doing cable extensions. 2-3" max. It's usually the Throttle cable that is the limiting factor. I have not installed an adjustable personally, but I know someone that has done it himself, and he is not a Rocket Scientist.
