Anybody have the 2010 boondocker or sno-pro bibs from AC? Or, for that matter anyone got any of the past ones? What you think? Waterproofing and breathability as advertised? Or is it worth the extra 150 bucks for the Klim or Motor Fist?? Thanks for all your opinions and suggestions!

Klim and never look back. There is a reason for the price. You are paying for what they do, not for what you get. Kinda like hiring me. $

Just got my second pair or Arctic Cat bibs (The "Premium" not the "Boondockers" from Ken's $119.99) for Christmas. My son wants the first pair after ten years still look like new and have preformed outstanding. Of course I wear a cotton flannel shirt for my mid layer so take my advice for what it's worth, lol.

Thanks Polaris, seems like so many like Klim, so worried about how rough I seem to be on the bibs I have had in the past if I tear or rip them...been reading some posts on other forums stating the Klim warranty isn't what it used to be which has me concerned if you are paying that much for the stuff, something goes wrong, and the company balks about the failure of zipper, stitching, etc...

Thanks fire. Really am starting to lean towards them. Have an AC coat from last year and it seemed to work pretty well also....

I'm very hard on bibs...I've always went through a set a yr sleddin...I usually tried to find bibs for like $100 and then go with em....I've bot a bunch of Castle bibs and go through a set a yr... I've switched to KLIM this yr for a coat, bibs, boots, gloves...I've only had one real ride but can already tell I'll never go back....They seem like the kids pants of yrs ago tough skins but a lot more flexible and breathable...It sure seems like they are well made...only time will tell if I made the right move but I think I did.

While I am sure Klim is nice stuff (would John have a site supporter he didn't endorce??) If you go thru pants as fast as you do (what the heck are you doing with them anyway???) I would buy something you know you can throw away at the end of the year.

A few years ago, I bought some Minus 33 degree bibs ($65) and they look like new and are very warm with reflective tape and zippers and velcro to modify the amount of exposure. However, I can't seem to find anything they make in Bib covers anymore so maybe they are out of the snowmo biz.... and only selling underware, just don't know....

But you can still find some modestly prices stuff if you search for them.

Here is one place...not sure if they are a John Dee site supporter or not.....

Based out of the cheese state....which means buying local, $90 should do it...or less.
