Arctic Cat Z1 Weight Transfer

Have a new sled, took first trip last night. I am a big guy, so I set the rear spring preload to cam position 3. No other changes. The skis are "loose" and I had to wrestle with it a lot. On my Polaris, I solved this by tightening the front limiter straps. Alas, the Z1 limiter straps are not adjustable! I want to bring the weight transfer forward for better tracking. How can I accomplish this without adjustable limiter straps?
Thanks!

I know you said you do not want to adjust the limiter straps, but it is pretty easy to do. Use a stud cutter to put new holes in the straps. Works pretty slick.

You can loosen the front skid spring quite a bit. We usually back them off until the spring is loose and then just tighten a couple turns with the spanner nuts. Factory settings are generally almost all the way cranked tight. Too much for most.

You can also tighten the ski springs quite a bit to put more ski pressure down. One other thing to look at is the rear coupler blocks. Are those on the tightest setting? Do that adjustment and the front skid spring before drilling holes in the limiter straps. One thing to note on the blocks, the number on the block is the one that is touching the arm and not the one that is up and easiest to read.
