I was on an American Airlines flight from MKE to DFW Monday morning at 7am. As flights have been very light with passengers the last 2 months I thought that we would probably have the seat next to us open for SD purposes. The flight was full, 100 people on a regional jet. I personally don't have an issue with that other than we were told we could not fly without a facemark on and that when we landed and got to the gate we were instructed to stay in our seats and not get up until the row ahead of us exited to observe social distancing. REALLY!!!!we just spent the last 2 hours sitting crammed in next to each other but now we have to practice social distancing.

What a joke, I could say more but it would take too long.

A sad state of affairs for sure.
The problem is many airlines are down to flying 20% of their fleet to save money.

Unless the Feds intervene, it will be 90% plus full flights forever.

I thought it was really funny, when the recently pushed photo from a doctor in a plane, showing every seat was full. The "reporter" pushing the story, said something to the effect of "All packed in like sardines" - I literally laughed out loud! Suddenly, flying is like being packed in like sardines? WHEN HASN'T IT BEEN!!??

I ripped a piece of plywood to put infront of our parts counter to keep people back. Lots of redneck comments about that let me tell ya!! Works though. I am about ready to take them down though. Pretty sure this bug has been around a lot longer than what we are being told. More and more people keep talking about the sickness they had last winter that the docs couldn't tell them what it was ect... Time to get back to normal!!

NOPE! leaving it up to the people, if you're not comfortable coming in or being around people then so be it, those that don't care we don't enforce it, our door has been open since the beginning of this when we were told we were essential, no plexiglass walls, plastic sheets, sanitizer or face masks, then to find out a month later we can open our doors, well they never closed, sorry folks. We did work with those however that didn't want interaction and we offered free pick up and delivery for the month of april. Business as usual and 90% of the people don't seem to blink at it.

LOL! But its true, people are actually doing that, and some of our "leaders" are encouraging it!!

Don't take this the wrong way, not saying you think they are leaders but its a shame that this is what some think that leadership is in our government. Not sure that this anything close to "For the people", where do we all factor in with this mess with them anyway?

I have never relied on anyone or anything in my life and not going to start now. Talked to a lot of business owners recently and they are very positive about opening up this economy now but we need the small business people to join the movement to push these so-called leaders to open. Even today in the Senate Rand Paul questioned Dr. Fauci's numbers and his direction. Not everyone is doomsday like the scientist have been with their rhetoric scaring people.

Bottom line is that we all need to fend for ourselves right now and do the thing that we think is right with in the law of course (These stay at home orders and business closures are far from the law and being something that will stand up in the court of law)

Again, do what you feel comfortable with and where you reside.
