CRAZY question, but is there any chance they'd reopen it with the recent snow and this weekend's snow ??

Thinking of leaving tomorrow to head up riding for a few days

Not going to happen, this is at the direction of MDOT as well as the DNR. You will have to trailer across if you want to go North. Stay off of the canal, ice is not safe. The trail through Hancock is cooked, but outside of town, trails are pretty decent as of right now considering.
