Ashland Wi Question

Going through Ashland on a saddle bag trip, we would like to stay at the Quality Inn just outside of town but never being there I was wondering if anyone knew if there was an access trail off main to get to it.

Can't help you on that. We stayed at the Super 8, but that has been a few years back. Get with a club from that area??? Always enjoyed that area. The history of the ore docks, and railroading is very interesting.

We stayed at the AmericInn two weeks ago and that can be accessed by trail. To be honest snow was pretty thin in Ashland. We only stayed out of necessity, we had planned on going across the ice bridge to Madeline Island and staying the night in Bayfield. We found you can no longer ride trail to Bayfield as it no longer exists.
