We got back from ER had a great time! Thanks to all of you for ideas on things to do! We noticed where the trail crossed main blacktop roads there was some type of spray sap looking stuff on the road to protect us from the road or the road from us lol. The locals couldnt tell us what it is any ideas?

I believe its some kind of an epoxy to protect the roads.

Alot of places are also trying Beet juice for de-icing purposes....
