Just curious if anyone has done this. I'm hoping to do it next winter, just curious for suggestions on how many days to take, where to stay, and what the distance between Gunflint lake and Atikokan is. Looks to me like no gas in between for that whole stretch, and its gotta be somewhere in the 120+ mile range....
Well after finding this map in the link (left side), it looks like fuel may not be that big of a deal, but also curious if these places are reliably opened or if its a relaxed (open when we want to) schedule.
